In the long river of life, studying abroad is not only a learning experience, but also a spiritual baptism and growth of the transformation. During my study at Technische Universitat Dresden in Germany, I experienced an unexpected dilemma - not enough credits to finish my course on time. This challenge made me reflect deeply, and finally found a way to deal with the problem. The following is my experience during this journey, hoping to provide some inspiration for international students facing the same dilemma.
At the beginning, I learned that I could not get the certificate of completion because of the lack of credits, and the loss and anxiety in my heart was unspeakable. I felt lost. I didn't know what to do. However, immersing myself in negative emotions could not deal with the problem, so I began to try to calm down, analyze the reasons and seek solutions.
First of all, I went over all my subject records, identified which courses I had missed, and the number of credits required for each course. Then, I communicated with the academic staff of the college to understand the possibility of retaking and retaking the exam. I have found that a few classes can be compensated for by participation in summer school and perhaps additional tutoring.
Then, I drew up a specific study plan to ensure that I could make full use of the time and efficiently complete all the unused lessons. At the same time, I also joined the study group, reviewed with other students and helped each other. This kind of teamwork has greatly improved my learning power, and also made me psychologically supported.
In addition to academic efforts, I also actively participated in various activities of the school, which not only enriched my campus life, but also helped to improve my verbal and social skills. After communicating with other students, I got a lot of advice on how to study effectively, which was very helpful to me.
While trying to make up for the credits, I also began to pay attention to my mental health. I realized that maintaining an outstanding mindset is crucial to overcoming difficulties. As a result, I exercise regularly, adhere to healthy habits, and keep in touch with family and friends, whose support gives me great encouragement.
After a period of hard work, I finally completed all the courses in the regular time and passed the exam. Words cannot express the sense of accomplishment and pride I felt when I received my certificate of completion from TU Dresden. This is not only a diploma, but also a proof of my perseverance and courage to face challenges.
Looking back on this experience, I deeply understand the importance of holding on to positive emotions, making sound plans, collaborating with others, and valuing self-growth in the face of difficulties. These experiences not only helped me deal with the immediate problems, but also laid a solid foundation for my future career and personal development.
Finally, I would like to say to students who are experiencing similar difficulties: don't be afraid of failure, everyone may encounter setbacks, the key is to learn from it and find a way to deal with the problem. Trust yourself, stick with it, and success will come to you.
After this experience, I am more convinced that no matter what difficulties we encounter, as long as we have confidence and determination, we will certainly find a way to overcome them. The experience of studying in Germany has taught me to think and deal with problems independently, which will be a valuable asset in my life.
To sum up, although the experience of studying in Germany and failing to finish the course on time was full of challenges, it taught me the courage to face difficulties and the wisdom to deal with problems. After unremitting efforts, I finally successfully obtained the graduation certificate of the Technical University of Dresden, which is not only the recognition of my academic achievements, but also the certainty of my personal growth. This experience has made me understand that no matter how bumpy the road ahead is, as long as we persevere, there is no difficulty we cannot overcome.
